Please Don't Write Any More Blog Posts Until I get Caught Up!
Ok everyone, listen up. Don't write any more posts tonight, ok?
I've fallen a bit behind on my blog reading and am desperately trying to catch up. But every time I think I'm making a little progress, there's a new post. And worst of all, the stuff is great.
There are posts about how blogging lubricates intracompany relations (Clogger's worried about work, I'm worried about what the neighbors might think), how the Internet helped kill common courtesy (I personally hate having to call and say, "um, just want to make sure you got my e-mail..." when I don't hear back for days) and H&R Block's little fraud problem (thank goodness I'm not using their services this year). And many, many more posts that I hope to review later.
It's nearly midnight. Tomorrow's another day, right?

No, Andrea, sorry. "MUST! BLOG! MUST! BLOG!"
Seriously, though, I feel your pain. My RSS feeds are at about 100 now. Not sure how most bloggers are able to read everything, comment widely, develop their own fascinating posts - AND get any pay-the-bills work done.
I think most of the good stuff gets posted early in the week, though, since we're all trying to create the meme-of-the-week, right? So you've got the weekend to get caught up. ;)
Thanks for the linklove, btw.

Can't help it. I've been slack lately so took the decision at the beginning of the week to lay it down heavy.
Doesn't it tick you off that there are more and more bloggers being paid loads to do nothing but blog nowadays? They don't have to snatch 15 minutes on the bus or during the advert breaks of The Apprentice...

I'm in the same boat, I keep finding great blogs to add to my list almost every day. A few weeks ago I could go through and read all my 'favorite' blogs in 30 mins, now it takes a couple of hours.
The funniest part is, there's only been 2 blogs in that time that I've stopped reading, and both of those were so-called 'A-Lister' blogs.

Todd:
Usually I'm able to keep up, but not this time. That's when I have to get radical and ignore the non-industry-specific blogs. Interesting comment about the "good stuff" getting posted early in the week. I've never approached it that way, but simply write when I have something to day.
Nobelizer:
Some bloggers actually get paid to do this? :-) And I though it was just for the fun and glory.
Mack:
I though *I* was one of your A-List bloggers :-)

Andrea to me the A-Listers are the bloggers that are actually very good, and never mention it.
The 'A-Listers' are the bloggers that are actually fair to good, but that run around telling everyone they are great ;)
You're an A-Lister as far as I'm concerned!

I tend to be a end-of-week blogger but with my workload, you may be lucky, Andrea. I might actually blog a bit less these next few days …

Andrea, let me be the one to humour you. I'll honestly try not to post anything until you say when. ;-) My tip would be: divide your feeds into a 'daily' category and a 'once a week' category. The latter is some reading for the weekend... (Hope you enjoyed it, because by the time I write this comment, it's already Sunday night over here)
