Self-Portrait... Or Why I Didn't Become An Artist
I took QuizFarm's What is your Perfect Major? quiz (thanks to Dan Hill of the Flying Aqua Badgers for the nod) and it suggested I should major in Journalism (100%). I also scored 100% in English, Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology. At it turns out, my undergraduate degree actually was English and my graduate degrees combined elements from the other categories. Interesting.
What the quiz didn't reveal is that I also have a love for the arts. But given my lack of talent in that department (see self portrait below, courtesy of ArtPad), it's a good thing I didn't want to become an artist...

Looks like a piece of art that's perfect for hanging on the refrigerator door!

Don't give up too quickly. Every beginning is difficult. My 9-year-old son started out in a very similar way too... four years ago. But he's progressed really well since! ;-D Sorry, couldn't help myself... Sorry, sorry, sorry!

Gentlemen:
As I tell my children, it's the *effort* that counts much more than the result. And this was truly my best effort :-)

I scored high in Sociology, how interesting. Mine was English (83%), Sociology (83%), Art (83%) and then Journalism at 75%.
